Obituary of Katharine "Kay" Letitia Brown

Peacefully, with her family by her side, on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, at age 98. Kay (nee Collins) formerly of Raglan, beloved wife of the late Roy Brown (1978). Loving mother of Maple and her husband Maarten Mantel of Seagrave, Leslie and his wife Lorraine of Raglan, and Neil and his wife Suzanne of Little Britain. Predeceased by her son Alan (1971). Loved and devoted gram of Jeff Wray and his wife Catharine, Sheri and her husband Henry Van Kessel, Bob Brown, Kate and her husband Darren Duchene, Janette and her husband Andrew Smith, Janet and her husband Alfredo Brusco, Michelle Lucyk (deceased), Sara and her husband Rick McCoshen, Sarah Jean and her husband Dan Vincent, and Matthew Brown and his wife Liza. Great gram of Matthew, Allison, Leah, Megan, Emily Nathan, Madison, Mackenzie, Vienne, Mason, Alexandria, Joseph, Mia, Chole, and Weslyn. Dear sister of Hazel Wilman. Predeceased by her brothers John, Archie, Charles, Homer, Bill, Alex and her sister Milly Davis. The family of Kay Brown will receive friends at the COLUMBUS COMMUNITY UNITED CHURCH (3285 Simcoe Street North, Oshawa) on Saturday, January 16th from 1 -2 p.m. A Service to Celebrate her life will be held at 2 p.m. with Reverend Fred Jackson officiating.
