Peacefully, surrounded by her family, wrapped in their hearts and arms, in a room echoing with memories, love and laughter, at Port Perry Place, on Sunday, January 17, 2016, at age 92. Millie (nee Porter), beloved wife of the late Gord Bennet. Loving mother of Lynn and her husband Rip Green of Port Perry, Don Bennet and his wife Joyce of Collingwood, Mike Bennet and his wife Brandi Carrington of Toronto, and Rob Bennet and his wife Rachel of Whitby. Loved grandmother of Cheryl and Aaron, Janet and Andrew, Lindsay and Derek, Kate and Jeff, Christopher and Jessica, Coady, Spencer, Nate, Maya, and Emily and great grandmother of Brock, Porter, Anna, Delilah, and Bennet. Predeceased by her 6 brothers and her sister. Millie enjoyed family, music, euchre, and was a diehard Toronto Blue Jay and Toronto Maple Leafs fan.
