Obituary of Joanne Barbara Bergen

Peacefully, after waging a 10 year war with cancer, on Saturday, January 23, 2016, at Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto. Joanne lived her final 12 years in Port Perry, ON with her childhood sweetheart and husband of 23 years, Richard Roberts. Loving mother of Shauna Bergen of Toronto ON, Christopher Bergen and his wife Sharin of London, England, and step mother of William Roberts and his wife Crystal of Vancouver, BC. Loved sister of Martin Sills and his wife Julie of Williams Lake, BC, and Susan Sills and her husband Steve Hughes of Wiesbaden, Germany. The family of Joanne Bergen will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Wednesday, January 27th from 7 - 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held at Emmanuel Community Church (1680 Reach Street, Port Perry) on Thursday, January 28th at 11 a.m., Pastor Fred Penney officiating.
