Obituary of June Ethel McHugh

On Friday, February 12, 2016 at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto, at age 76. June (nee Strong), beloved wife of Garry McHugh of Port Perry. Loved mother of Janice McHugh of Port Perry, Bruce (Jennifer) McHugh of Peterborough, and Scott (Sue) McHugh of Oshawa. Dear sister to the "Strong Girls" Marie (Dick deceased) Geer of Utica, Joyce (Alan) Ashton of Oakwood, Ruby (Harvey) Dearborn of Manilla and Isabelle (John) Vernon of Seagrave. Sister-in-law to Bill and Betty McHugh, Bob and Marge McHugh, and Claude and Darlene Bradimore (both deceased) all of Oshawa. Forever missed by her grandchildren Josh and Shannon Stout, and Bryce, Carter, Amy and Katie McHugh. She was predeceased by her parents Hugh & Ruth Strong. The Family of June McHugh will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel" 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Friday, February 26th from 10 - 11 a.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. followed by a reception in the Heritage Room of the funeral home.
