Obituary of Lillian Jean Reesor

LILLIAN JEAN REESOR (nee Couves) September 28, 1941 - February 21, 2016 Devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, teacher, musician, and friend passed away peacefully at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, in the early hours of Sunday, February 21, 2016 with family at her side. Married to Danny Reesor for almost 53 years, she has three children, Chris (Danielle), Charlene (Trevor) Lyn, and Denise (Dave) Bell. She dearly loved her nine wonderful grandchildren, Hilliary, Katelyn, Sebastian, Darren, Sara, Karianne, Meghan, Emma and Peter. Dear sister of Ruth (Jim Murphy) and Betty (Ron Heard) Dobson. The Family of Lillian Reesor will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel" 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Saturday, February 27th from 3 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 115 St. Andrew's Road, Scarborough on Sunday, February 28th at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Duncan Cameron officiating. There will be Visitation before the Service starting at 2:00 p.m. Interment Bethel Cemetery, Greenbank in the Spring. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Port Perry Hospital Foundation or St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Scarborough.
