Obituary of Aldon Avard Powers

It is with sad hearts we announce the sudden passing of Aldon Powers on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at his home in Oshawa, at age 64. He will always be remembered as a kind and caring man who worked hard to care for and help those he loved. Predeceased by his mother Marguerite Powers. He is survived by his daughter Tanya Powers, his son Brandon Powers (Tara Works), his father Avard Powers (Laura Gervais), his siblings Susan Powers (Scott McHugh), April (Dave Knight), Brian Powers (Roline), Kim Powers Lee (Paul Larocque), Kelly Powers (Rob Porter) and Mark Powers (Kellie Beck), along with his many nieces, nephews, cousins and adopted sons Matt, Guiness and daughter Melissa. A Private Service was held at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, “McDermott-Panabaker Chapel”, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Saturday, March 19th at 11 a.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the charity of your choice.
