Dear Joy and family, On behalf of myself and my family, I would like to offer my condolences on the passing of your dear father. I did not know him closely, but every time I walked by, he always had a smile and a few kind of funny words. A nice man.

Dear Johnston Family, I was so sorry to read of your father's passing. He was a fixture in Port Perry...I remember him mostly at the ball diamonds. Our last chat was at Canadian Tire. He was having something done to the van. I'm sure you will all miss him and my thoughts are with you...It's hard to lose your DAD! My condolences, Sharalyn Campbell

We have many fond memories of the Johnston family and were very sorry to hear of Dave's passing. Rob and I lived in Brooklin until 1967 when we were married and moved to Whitby. Carol was my maid of honour and I was her's, while Ray and Rob were racing buddies. Later when we moved to Newtonville we renewed our friendship with Bob through Hans and Isabel Eyman (Rob's sister) and from Wilmot Creek Jim and Nancy came to my hairstyling shop with Jessie, when I ran my business in Bowmanville. Our Prayers go out to your family. Love Lynda and Rob.

I lived in Brooklin until 1968 until I moved to BC. I am sorry to hear of David's passing. I still get back to Brooklin and area at least once a year. I have seen Chuck a few times in the last 15 years at the cottage on Sturgeon lake. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family. Ann Bartlett.
