Obituary of Rick DeShane

RICKY ALFRED DeSHANE After a brief illness, on Friday, December 28, 2007, at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Oshawa, at age 49. Rick DeShane of Oshawa, beloved husband of Cheryl (nee Heffernan). Loving father of Michael of Oshawa and Stephanie and her fiancé Christos Skotidas of Mississauga. Dear brother of Kathy and her husband James Fowler of Oshawa. He will be sadly missed by his beloved companion and family pet Winnie. The family of Rick DeShane will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Sunday, December 30th from 3 – 5 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel on Monday, December 31st at 11 a.m. with Reverend Elaine Sveet officiating. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Durham Region Cancer Centre or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
