Obituary of Sarah Kight Brunton

SARAH KIGHT BRUNTON ~ (Long-time member of the Order of the Eastern Star, the Anglican Church of the Ascension, and a long-time employee of the Sears Order Office, all in Port Perry) ~ Peacefully, on Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Oshawa, at age 95. Sarah (nee Sandison) of Port Perry, predeceased by her husbands Cleveland Kight and Arthur Brunton. Loving mother of Nancy and her husband Gordon MacMillan, and James Kight (deceased) and his wife Ricarda. Dear friend of Granny Carda Mathews and sister-in-law of Marion Owen. Cherished Gram of Matthew MacMillan and his wife Dianne, Sue MacMillan, David Kight and Sarah Kight. Proud Great Gram of Miles and Owen MacMillan, and Taylor Reid. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews, the Brunton Family, as well as her many dear neighbours and friends. The family of Sarah Kight Brunton will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Friday, December 16th from 3 – 5 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, December 17th at 11 a.m. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert.
