MARGUERITE MARIE POWERS ~ Peacefully, on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Oshawa, at age 78. Marguerite (nee Forchon) of Prince Albert, loved mother of Aldon, Susan (Scott McHugh), April Knight, Brian (Roline), Kim (Paul Larocque), Kelly (Rob Porter) and Mark (Kellie). Loving grandmother of Tanya, Brandon, Joshua (Shannon), Bill (Jessine), Trisha, Alanna, Sarah, Jamie, Danielle, Morgan, Alison, Emily, Kayla, Jesse, Mackenzie, Alexis, Keri, and great grandmother of Megan, Seth, Jack, Hailey and Lily. Dear sister of Gloria Crouse and predeceased by her brothers Richard, and Norman and her sister Elsie Rickaby. The family of Marguerite Powers will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Thursday, December 15th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel on Friday, December 16th at 11 a.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Port Perry Hospital Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
