GEOFFREY TOMAS TAYLOR (Veteran, Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Port Perry Branch 419, Sergeant of Arms, Past Chairman of the Poppy Fund, Member of the British Armed Forces as a Sergeant serving in the Middle East 1948) Peacefully, on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 83. Geoff Taylor of Port Perry, beloved husband of the late Joyce (nee Baylis). Loved father of Priscilla (Gary Reis), Monica Taylor, Neil Taylor (Kerry), Karen (Greg Macdonald). Loving grandfather of Carrie Anne (Craig), Geoff (Michelle), Kaitlin, Erik, Taylor, Jordan, and great grandfather of Chrysteen, Carson, Owen, and Leo. Dear brother of Marjorie Smith, Monica (Ray Jenkins), and David Taylor (Anne). The family of Geoffrey Taylor will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Monday, December 19, 2011 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, December 20 at 11 a.m. with Reverend Paul Moorhouse officiating.
