DOUGLAS LEONARD EDINGER ~ (Retired from G.M. Oshawa) ~ Suddenly, on Monday, December 19, 2011, at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, at age 66. Doug Edinger of Seagrave, dearly loved husband of Helena (nee Emons). Loved father of Anita and her husband Kevin Jackson of Burketon, Annette and her husband Bill Doten of Oshawa and Jason Edinger of Lindsay. Cherished grandfather of Mitchell, Shanelle, Michael and Joshua. Loving son of Helen and the late Leonard Edinger. Dear brother of Bill, Sandra, Patricia, Judith, Karen, Kathy, David, Roy and Mervin and brother-in-law of Anne, Bill, Peter, Betty and Theo. Doug will also be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. The family of Doug Edinger will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985 2171) on Wednesday, December 21st from 6 - 9 p.m. A Prayer Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, December 22nd at 11 a.m. with Father Peter Lackmanec officiating.
