Obituary of John Barton Cook

JOHN BARTON COOK ~ Peacefully, on Wednesday, April 13, 2009, at the Community Nursing Home in Port Perry, at age 89. John Cook of Greenbank, dearly loved husband of the late Norrine (nee Till). Loved brother of Reid Cook (deceased) and his wife Reta, Earl Cook (deceased) and his wife Emma (deceased), and Jim Cook (deceased) and his wife Phyllis. Dear brother-in-law of Viona and her husband Murray Smith (deceased), Audrey and her husband John Mayne (deceased), Ernest Till (deceased) and his wife Ruth (deceased) and Leroy Till (deceased) and his wife Iva (deceased). Uncle John will be lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews. The family of John Cook will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985 2171) on Wednesday, April 15th from 7 - 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Reverend Paul Moorhouse officiating.
