Obituary of Arthur Maxwell Weir

ARTHUR MAXWELL WEIR ~ Peacefully, on Monday, April 20, 2009, at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 65. Art Weir of Nestleton, dearly loved husband of Barbara (nee Wall). Loved father of Kenneth and his wife Barbara and David. Loving grandfather of Ashley and Kaitlyn. Dear brother of Brian and his wife Meda. Art will be missed by his nephews Michael and Mark and family. The family of Art Weir will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985 2171) on Tuesday, April 21st from 2 – 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, April 22nd at 1 p.m. with Reverend Linda Saffrey officiating followed by a reception in the front room of the Funeral Home. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery, Toronto on Thursday. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Port Perry Hospital Foundation CT Fund or the Nestleton United Church Memorial Fund.
