MURIEL "BRENDA" WILSON ~ (A World War II British Army Veteran) ~ Passed away peacefully in her sleep, on Sunday, May 17, 2009, at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 84. Brenda (nee Cumby), beloved wife of Thomas Robert Wilson of Port Perry. Cherished mother of Mike (Rene), Patt (Murray) and Kerry. Loving sister of Julie (Bob) in England. Loved grandmother of Dan (Karrie), Brad (Laura), Lainey (Patrick), Brenna (Jeff), Melanie, Matt, Danielle (Clint) and Amanda (Steve) and great grandmother of Ricki-Marie, Frankie-Lee, Trent, Tayshin, Turner, Brayden, Riley, Nate, Taylor, Liam, Clayton, Rylan, Isaiah and Reyus. Brenda was predeceased by her parents Frederick and Lillian Cumby and her sisters Babs and Beryl. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews and family overseas. The family of Brenda Wilson will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Tuesday May 19th from 7 - 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, May 20th at 11 a.m. with Padre Roger Magg officiating.
