Obituary of Harold Lloyd MacTavish

HAROLD LLOYD MacTAVISH, BA, MA ~ (Former Principal with Toronto District School Board) ~ Peacefully, on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at the Baycrest Hospital in Toronto, at age 85. Harold MacTavish of Toronto, loving son of the late Mary and Rev. Frederick MacTavish. Predeceased by his sister Jean and his brother Gerald. Much loved uncle of Jean (Robert Holtby) of Uxbridge, Marilyn Copeland (John Sainsbury) of Bradford, and Betty MacTavish of North Bay and great uncle of Allison (Joshua), Darryl (Larissa), Carina (Matthew), Sarah (Matthew), Joel (Nicole), Steven (Stephanie), Vanessa, Shane, Keaton, and Jesse. A Service to celebrate the life of Harold MacTavish will be held in the Emmanuel Community Church, 1680 Reach Street in Port Perry on Monday, April 9th at 2 p.m. followed by a reception in the Church Hall. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert in the Spring. Special thanks to the Sunnybrook Palliative Care Department and the Baycrest Centre Palliative Care Department.
