Obituary of Willa Ruth Dick
On Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital, at age 85. Willa (nee Wilson), devoted and loving wife of Ronald George Dick of Scugog Point. Loving mother of Michael and Cindy, loving step-mother of Karen, Kathy, Terry, Ronnie, Kevin, Steven and Robin. Caring grandmother of 21 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Willa was a valued civilian employee of the Toronto Police Service where she proudly provided 18 years of service before her retirement in 1994. She was a tremendously generous and caring person who devoted herself to numerous volunteer organizations within her community.
The family of Willa Dick will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Friday, June 1st from 10 – 11 a.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. followed by a reception at the Scugog Community Recreation Centre Hall, 1655 Reach Street, Port Perry. Private interment St. John’s Anglican Cemetery in Blackstock. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics or The Sunshine Foundation of Canada.
