Obituary of Mary Josephine Olaisen
(Veteran WW II Merchant Navy)
Peacefully, on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Westshore Village in Port Perry, at age 99 5 months short of her 100th birthday. Mary (nee O’Quinn), beloved wife of the late Hans Olaisen of Port Perry. Loved mother of Richard Olaisen and his wife Diane of Bowmanville and Anne and her husband Ray Zaparanuik of Port Perry. Loving grandmother of Mike, Rick (Angie), Tammy and Bill (Tay) and great grandmother of Tyler, Brittany, Jacob, Jaden, Jason, Alyssa, Tye, Trenten and Trayson and great great grandmother of Isabella. Mary is survived by her brothers John, Ron and Al and her sister Willie.
The family of Mary Olaisen will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, “McDermott-Panabaker Chapel”, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Monday, June 11th from 10 – 11 a.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert.
