Obituary of Irene Selina Capon

Peacefully on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at West Shore Village in Port Perry, at the age of 95. 

Irene was born in England on November 29, 1922 and had served in the NAFFI during WW II.  Known by many as being feisty, she later immigrated to Canada
at the age of 85.  She was often seen pulling her buggy or walker down to the shops on Queen Street in Port Perry.

Visitors included her son Arthur and Miriam Capon, granddaughters Samantha and Sarah Capon, and great grandchildren William, Alexis and Kate.

The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at the Newmarket Hospital, West Shore Village, and the Port Perry health care and business community for making Rene feel welcome.
