Obituary of Joe Franssen
Peacefully, on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 82. MJ “Joe” Franssen dearly loved husband of the late Ruth (nee Snowdon) for nearly 59 years. Devoted dad to Jennifer (Donovan Arnaud), Cynthia (Gary Lucas), Martin, and Valerie (Art Brant). Awesome grandpa of Ryan (Sarah), Krista (Tyler), Michael (Ashley), Joshua, Melane` (Adam), Jeffrey (Lora), Janna (Ryan), Mia and Jake (Lisa). Cherished papa/opa of Ava, Mariah, Letti, Pyper, Emmi, Talia, Abigail, Morgan, William and Finnegan.
The family of Joe Franssen will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, “McDermott-Panabaker Chapel”, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Wednesday, December 5th from 7 - 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, December 6th at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made by cheque to a charity of choice.
