Obituary of Doris Belinda Samells
Peacefully, surrounded by family on Thursday, May 30, 2019, at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, at age 90. Doris (nee Gordon), dearly loved wife of Mel Samells. Loved mother of Joan Samells, Kathy Hewitt (Roger), Kenneth (Tess) and Carol. Loving grandmother of Richard (Jo-Marie), Christopher, Mackenzie, Nicholas and Matthew. Predeceased by her sister Betty McArthur.
The family of Doris Samells will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Monday, June 3rd from 1 – 2 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel at 2 p.m. followed by a reception in the Heritage Room of the funeral home. Interment Nestleton United Church Cemetery, Nestleton. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Salvation Army.
