Obituary of Joseph Dowdall
Peacefully, on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 100. Joe Dowdall of Port Perry and formerly of Burnett Avenue, Willowdale, beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Lennon). Loved father of Bernie Dowdall (deceased), Sheila (Mark Rodrigue) of Etobicoke, Anne (Rick Galpin - deceased) of Irricana, Kathleen Dowdall of Waterdown, Michael Dowdall (Lynn Singer) of Toronto, Maureen (Gerry Hall) of Newmarket, and Jim Dowdall (deceased). Loving grandfather of Jennifer, Talon (Keith Ober), Kieran, Kyle, Siobhan, Liam and Bronwyn and great grandfather of Merissa. He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and extended family in Canada, the USA, Ireland and the UK.
The family of Joe Dowdall will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Sunday, November 17th from 2 – 4 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1710 Scugog Street (Hwy. 7A) in Port Perry on Monday, November 18th at 11:30 a.m.
