Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, on Monday, November 18, 2019 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Bowmanville, at age 68. Steve Baran formerly of Port Perry, beloved husband of the late Deborah (nee Vallas). Loving father of Adam Baran and his wife Melissa of Orono, and James Baran of Port Perry. Loved G-pa of Dayna, and Linden. Dear brother of Roman Baran and his wife Maryann of Mississauga. Dear Brother- in-law of Paul Vallas and his wife Janet of Guelph. Uncle of Christopher and Stephanie and her husband Martin O’Halloran and great uncle of Connor.
The family of Steve Baran will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Friday, November 29th from 7 – 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, November 30th at 11 a.m. followed by a reception in the Heritage Room of the Funeral Home.
