Obituary of Donald Auburn Ashbridge
Peacefully, on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Oshawa, at age 86. Don Ashbridge of Scugog Island, beloved husband of Dorene (nee Reader). Loving father of Jim and his wife Kate of Bowmanville, Tim and his wife Patti of Courtice, and Ian and his wife Leanne of Port Perry. Loved grandfather of Sean, Kevin, Erin, Kelly, Lauren, Christina. Darren, Steven, and Aaron and great grandfather of Callan, Wesley, and Zoey. He was predeceased by his sister Ruth Harrison.
The family of Donald Ashbridge will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Friday, December 6th from 7 - 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, December 7th at 11:30 a.m. followed by a reception in the Heritage Room of the funeral home. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Port Perry Hospital Foundation.
