NELSON READER ~ After a short illness, on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 89. Nelson Reader of Scugog Island, beloved husband of Betty (nee Watson). Loved father of Ray Reader and his wife Sherry of Port Perry and Janet Reader Day and her husband Ralph Day of Picton. Loving grandfather of Gene, Adrienne, Christina, and Allison. Dear brother of Dorene and her husband Don Ashbridge of Scugog Island, Mary and her husband Robert Dowson of Peterborough, and predeceased by his sisters Lois and her husband Harold Luke, Elsie and her husband Alfred Angus. The family of Nelson Reader will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Tuesday, March 13th from 7 – 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in Chapel on Wednesday, March 14th at 11 a.m. with Reverend Michael Bishop officiating.
