Dear Rob, Paul, Janine, Judy, Pierre, your spouses, grandchildren and great grands. Bob and I were saddened to hear of Elma’s passing but also feel relief that she is now free from her struggle with Alzheimer’s and any discomfort. You are all in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We have many happy memories of visits with Charlie and Elma in their various living accommodations and in particular their Sydenham home. We will treasure those memories. Many loving thoughts, Aunt Helen and Uncle Bob

I remember well, the first time I met Elma. My wife Judy and I attended the 'grove'. it was a gathering of believers in Sir Sandford Fleming college. Sitting in front of me, was a couple I didn't know. What a shock to learn, that Charlie Foster was my first cousin ! When that presented itself, I remember Elma with a massive grin on her face, threw her arms around my neck and said, "HELLO COUSIN ! " I will never forget that. What a presence about her. Her Husband Charlie and her, seemed to radiate with a unmistakable presence. Every Sunday, was the same thing----"HELLO COUSIN" with that unmistakable radiant smile. Both Elma and Charlie had a powerful impact on my life. I look forward to that day, when we can catch up with a few million stories ! Phil Foster
