Obituary of Alice Whalen

Peacefully, on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Oshawa, at age 91. Alice (nee Sutton), beloved wife of the late Louis Joseph Whalen of Seagrave. Loving mother of Glen and his wife Antonet of Seagrave, Carol-Ann Whalen-Currie and her husband Robert of Kitchener, and Daniel and his wife Colleen of Ajax. Loved grandmother to her 7 grandchildren Mike, Matt, Lucas, Spencer, Austin, Ben and her 4 great grandchildren Darcee, Abigail, Zackery, Marlee. Dear sister of Catherine Tomes and her husband Larry of Florida, Bernadette Hogan of Newfoundland, and Rita Hoffman and her husband Norbert of Florida. She was predeceased by her sisters Ethel Sutton, Mary Hogan, and Ellen Bailey, her granddaughter Brianna Kathryn Whalen and her brothers Joseph, Richard, and Robert.

A private family service will be held at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171). Private interment Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Whitby.
