Obituary of Kathalene Ella May Smith
After a short illness on Friday, January 15, 2021, at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Bowmanville, at age 102. Kathalene (nee Wilson), beloved wife of the late Leslie Smith of Port Perry. Loved mother of George Smith and his wife Sharon of Little Britain, Aldon Smith and his wife Jay of Port Perry, Robert Smith and his wife Colleen of Port Perry, Bruce Smith and Diane of Port Perry, Donovan Smith and his wife Trudy of Nestleton and Karen Andrews and her husband David of Oshawa. Cherished grandmother of Amanda, Michael, Jennifer, Stephen, Sarah, Meghan, Christa, Britni, Jaclyn, Madison, and Rebecca and great grandmother of 8. Dear sister of Helen Anderson. Predeceased by her brothers Lloyd, Paul, Norman, Gordon, and Earl.
A private visitation and funeral for Kathalene Smith will be held at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171). Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert.
