Obituary of Audrey Laurene Evans
It is with heavy hearts that the Evans family announces the passing of their beloved Audrey Evans on Tuesday March 2, 2021, in hospital, shortly after celebrating her 80th birthday. Audrey (nee Gibson), beloved wife of the late Kaye Evans for 60 years. Loved daughter of the late Norman and Laura Gibson. Loving mother of Dale (Chris Evans) and Brian (Jackie Shinn). Loved sister of Glen (Judy Gibson), and the late Morley Gibson and Alvin Gibson. Loving grandmother of Jason (Rachel Walton), Amy (Neil Bramley), Kasey (Steve Schewaga) and Justin (Darcee Shinn) and great grandmother of eleven beautiful great grandchildren. Audrey will be fondly remembered for her treat cupboards, her joy of shopping, holiday gatherings, her fighting spirit, and her love of family. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Due to the restrictions of COVID-19 a private family service will be held in the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Friday, March 5th with John Molenaar officiating.
