Dear MacMillan family,
I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Gord a few times. He was always pleasant and always had a smile to make you feel welcome. I remember seeing him one time and asked how he was and he said “He was still looking down on green grass and not looking up at the roots.” That stuck in my head and I still say that to people today. On behalf of the Reddin family we’d like to express our deepest condolences to you all for the loss of such a great man. I’m sure he will be missed by many.

Sincere condolences to the MacMillan family. Couldn't have asked for better neighbours growing up. Lot's of great memories: either holding a fish on the lake, smoking a pipe while listening to Gordon Lightfoot and I think the first adult I remember that actually dressed up for Halloween every year ( and went out trick or treating !!!)

Dear Nancy, Matt, Sue and family,
I am saddened to hear of Gord's passing. I often think of the wonderful travel stories mom and dad would tell of their adventures with you both. A cracked bottle of some liquor purchased because the bottle was nice, so the four of you felt you had to consume the bottle - since it was leaking, then upon completion - threw it out the port window lol. Such great memories. One thing that always stuck in my mind was a saying we had for your's and Gord's punctuality and that was you were on "MacMillan Mountain Time" :-)
