Obituary of Robert John Davidge

IN MEMORY OF ROBERT JOHN DAVIDGE Peacefully, on Thursday, April 4, 2002 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 82. Robert Davidge of Port Perry, beloved husband of Ruth (nee Johnston). Loving father of Robert Davidge and his wife Jan of Newmarket, Susan and her husband Alex Smitko of Unionville, and James Davidge and his wife Claire of Thornhill. Loved grandfather of Elisabeth, Katie and Andrea. Survived by his sisters Bernice Davidge and Dorothy Magowan and predeceased by his brothers George, Bill and Beverley Davidge. Will be fondly remembered by his nieces Anne Murchison of Newmarket and Mary Arnold of Hamilton as well as other nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends will be received at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905 985-2171) on Saturday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Service to Celebrate the life of Robert Davidge will be held in the Chapel on Sunday, April 7th at 1:30 p.m. with Reverend Robert Le Page officiating. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Canadian Cancer Society.
