I was so sad to hear about my uncle's passing. Very deep condolences to my cousins Alex and Nick.
Since I can remember I've always had little comparisons to Glenn. I'd do or say something silly and Grandma would say "oooo, he's just like Glenn." I always took it as a huge compliment. I still hear comments like that from my mother and it makes me happy. After reading some of these other messages it seems that was the effect Glenn had on people: he'd just make you happy by being around him. He was a happy man with a positive personality. He set a great example for people to try to live up to.

Our very sincere condolences to Glenn's sons, sisters, brothers, nephews, nieces, and all family. We were very saddened to hear this sudden heartbreaking loss of an uncle to my husband Kyle McKinnon uncle and brother to my mother-in-law Fran McKinnon and family. Over the years I had the pleasure of meeting Glenn, the man that everyone always said my husband most reminds them of and there are so many great memories of. He was kind, caring, and fun. He will be dearly missed. In times of sorrow, remember the most, the loving memories you share.
Most Sincerely,
Angela, Kyle, Rachel, Ella

I met Glenn many years ago at the All Fit, All Ages Gym. Although a difference in age, we bonded over our love for personal wellness and travel. I always looked forward to catching up with Glenn. I admired his friendly demeanor, his dedication to his health, and his positivity. If there was ever a time I was feeling discouraged and shared this with Glenn, he provided words of encouragement to cheer me up. I haven't seen Glenn since February of 2020, pre-pandemic. With the news of gyms opening, I was looking forward to being reunited with my special friends at the gym, Glenn being one of them. I was so saddened to hear the news. Glenn, you were a bright light. You will be missed. My deepest condolences to his friends and family.

I was deeply shocked and saddened of Glenn's passing
I have known Glenn for many years playing hockey with him and against him and at the Scugog arena and had great times together on and off the ice
After I stopped hockey we met up again at the All Fit Center first at the now Montessori school for a number of years location and then when it was sold and after the first round of Covid was over they opened up at the Mall across from Food Basics
Most every day from 1pm-3pm Glenn would be there doing his regular heavy duty work out together[never seen anyone so dedicated and hard working to keep fit and at 66] with myself and Jim Townsend--we were there with Glenn most days at that same time and we were known as the three mouthkateers chatting while we worked out with great talks daily usually about last nights Leaf game and stock investments and how we were going to make millions and where to travel next
Glenn was a great soft spoken guy who was always smiling and positive and interested in what we were doing and how our families were doing.
He along with Jimmy were the main reasons for me to go to the fitness center as often as possible as I looked forward to seeing Glenn and Jim daily--it was a very special bond among the three of us and especially while we were on and off again in the fitness center during the Covid
which is going to open again next Monday and as I was looking forward to seeing the three of us together again. Glenn looked forward to a long retirement and travel life --gone way to soon--I am glad to have known Glenn . I had a lot of fond memories of Glenn and I will sincerely miss him .My sincere condolences to his entire family--Peace be with you all--His friend--Michael Shortly

I am shocked and deeply saddened by Glenn's passing. I met Glenn in 2007 when I started working for the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. Glenn was often present at abattoirs I inspected and I usually saw him every week. He was always smiling and a pleasure to deal with. We often chatted about running and joked about all his healthy eating. He would only eat cookies I brought for him if I had baked them and they were "healthy" (no added sugar, whole grain, etc). I always joked with operators if I couldn't find Glenn that he was likely in his office reviewing the Sunshine Girl. We planned to met for coffee but it never happened. So sorry I didn't. My condolences go out to his family and friends. He was a gem.
