Obituary of Elaine Ennis

February 15, 1944 – September 12, 2021

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elaine Ennis, in the Perth hospital on Sunday, September 12th, 2021, beloved wife, mother, nanny, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.  Elaine will be lovingly missed by the love of her life and husband of 52 years, Bud.  She was a very proud mother to Jane (Bob) Halliday and John (Lori) Ennis and cherished nanny to Joe, Jenni, Meghan and Kayla.  Elaine is survived by her sisters June Farrell and Betty Carnevale, brothers John (Mary) Hogg and Sid (Doreen) Hogg and brother-in-law Tom Ennis (Donna).

“Aunt Elaine” was adored by many nieces and nephews.  Elaine loved to love people and spent a lot of her time baking treats and would quilt every new baby a blanket.  She would always be your #1 fan on the ball diamond or ice rink.  Elaine cared deeply for people and will be greatly missed by many family and friends.

Elaine battled liver disease but never stopped giving the best advice and continued to always give the best hugs.

Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Perth. A private Visitation and Service will be held at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry on Friday September 17, 2021.  In remembrance of Elaine, contributions to the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation, 33 Drummond Street West, Perth, ON K7H 2K1 would be appreciated.
