My deepest condolences to Jim’s family and Soley for your loss. My name is Grant Aird. I have known Jim for some ‘22 years. Jim to me was the best friend anyone could ever ask for and his passing hurts so much. I first met Jim when he customized my 2000 Miata. Our friendship continued to grow over the years through our love of cars. In 2007 Jim transformed my 2007 Chrysler Crossfire Roadster into a masterpiece. Jim was extremely talented with his hands and a perfectionist with his work. No one could build things with their hands than Jim.
As our friendship grew Jim would on a regular basis pick up the phone and say, “ you want to go for coffee or breakfast at Sunset Grill?
We would spend hours talking politics and cars till the cows came home. How I loved the pleasure of his company and will greatly miss those times. Jim on a trip to Port Perry introduced me to the love of his life Christena. They were a perfect match for each other and Christena and I quickly hit it off through our love of dogs.
Now Christena and Jim are together again and God has a new angel in his choir.
Rest In Peace my friend. It is going to be so hard not to have the phone ring and hear your voice on the other end and go to coffee with you.

My condolence to Jim's family, very sad news to hear. My name is Everod Miller ,I lives in Whitby. I got to know Jim from the early 2000 .I happened to visit his shop in Pickering about part for my car.
Since then we became good friends. I met Christina as well over the years. After I retired I spent most of my time at the shop with him working or just hanging out.
He was a car guy like myself so during the Summer we would go to specific car shows, will certainly miss his company now .
REST IN PEACE my friend.
Everod.

Jim was always singing. I was always happy to join him in duets, but as a soloist he sang to the Lord and the church resounded with his voice. He was planning to sing again, and now he is. He's in God's choir, and they are So Lucky!
He missed Christina desperately, but forged ahead and enjoyed life as it is. His favaourite spots were Tim Horton's and the Pantry Shelf, and we had great discussions over coffee.
We all wanted to enjoy Jim and his wonderful spirit so much longer, but he has left us with many happy memories.
Sing Out, Jim, we're listening!
