Obituary of James "Jim" Bambrick

Unexpectedly, on Friday, April 1, 2022 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 60. Jim leaves behind his beloved son Ryan Bambrick (Ashley Cole). His loving partner Kim Woods. Cherished son of Norman and Virginia Bambrick and dear brother of Gord Bambrick (Shannon). Loved uncle of Hannah.

Jim followed in his father’s footsteps, first working at Bambrick Printing as a pressman and then as a salesman. He then moved on to establish his own business, James Norman Printing. In his later years he moved on to work in automotive sales. Jim loved to fix things, and he was happiest working on anything with a motor. He will be remembered for his unique sense of humour, for his great loyalty to his family and friends, and the secret pleasure he always took in helping others.

The family of Jim Bambrick will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Thursday, April 7th from 6 - 8 p.m. and on Friday, April 8th from 1 – 2:30 p.m. A service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hospital for Sick Kids Foundation for cancer research.
