Obituary of Larry Reesor
September 11, 1952 – April 28, 2022
It is with incredible sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Larry Reesor at the age of 69 on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 17:00hrs at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge with his loving wife, Joanne and daughters, Lauri and Carol by his side. Larry is also survived by his son-in-law Kyle Seed and his three grandsons, Charlie, Edwin and Wyatt.
In 2018, Larry was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and he was lucky to receive a then-life saving double lung transplant on June 6, 2021. We were extremely blessed to have another ten months with Larry but recently, Larry contracted pneumonia causing his new lungs to fail.
The family of Larry Reesor will receive family and friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) to reminisce and celebrate his life on Saturday May 7th from 2 – 4 p.m. Private interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider donations to the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital Foundation, the Toronto General Hospital Ajmera Transplant Centre or the O.P.P. Youth Foundation.
