Obituary of Alma Lois Manns
Peacefully, on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Lakeridge Gardens in Ajax at age 97. Alma (nee Hope), beloved wife of the late Thomas Manns of Port Perry. Loving mother of Gary Manns and his wife Brenda of Port Perry, and Carol and her husband Gordon Armstrong of Tweed. Loved grandma of Paul Manns and his wife Racheal, Greg Manns and his wife Jennifer, Ben Stevenson and his wife Melissa, Matt Stevenson and his wife Diana, and Krista Armstrong and great grandma of Geoffrey, Cameron, Matalynn, and Josie. Dear Sister of Roy Hope and his wife Dorothy. Predeceased by her sisters Mary Wolsley, Eileen Real, and her brothers Bill Hope, Keith Hope, Ken Hope, Alan Hope, and Merle Hope.
The family of Alma Manns will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Friday, May 27th from 12 – 2 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel at 2 p.m. with Reverend Don Willmer officiating. The wearing of masks is strongly encouraged by the family. Interment Prince Albert Pine Grove Cemetery.
