Obituary of Christena Bernice Edgar
Peacefully, on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Port Perry Place, at age 94. Christena (nee Denny), beloved wife of the late Ernest Edgar, and the late Rodolphus Hayden. Loving mother of Robert Hayden of Port Perry, Michael Hayden of Kirkfield, and Marilyn and her husband Fred Kyle of Port Perry. Loved grandmother of Greg Kyle and his wife Stacey, Darren Kyle, John Kyle and his wife Jen, Christina Hayden-Solomon and her husband Craig Solomon, and Jeanne Le Saux-Ball and her husband Fred Ball and great grandmother of Hadley, Beatrice, Charlie, Philip, and David. Dear sister of Ted Denny, and the late Catharine Martyn. Will be missed by her nieces and nephews.
The family of Christena Edgar will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Monday, June 6th from 10 - 11 a.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. with Reverend Denise Boyd officiating. Interment Prince Albert Pine Grove Cemetery. A special thank you to the staff at Port Perry Place. Christena was always well cared for and loved during the last ten years.
