Keely, just learning of your passing now. We played together as kids and crossed paths only a few times since, but I will always remember your smile and the sparkle in your eye.
Deepest condolences to Rex and Terri, and to all who's lives Keely was a part of. The beautiful messages here are proof of who she was, and how she will be remembered by many.
A couple of photos I have from 2005, when I last visited with Mom.

I first met Keely while in high school. Weather it was during our card sessions in the cafeteria, trips to McDonald's or passing each other in the hallway. Keely's lighthearted and energetic personality paired with her witty sense of humour always put an instant smile on my face and brightened my day.
After high school Keely and I drifted apart however, one day while scrolling through Facebook I received the gift of reconnecting with Keely. Over the last few years Keely has been there for me and my partner (Linda Mahaffy). With her adventurous and charming personality Keely helped Lin and I through some very difficult times.
Lin and I will miss Keely's caring, compassionate, and genuine ability to help others find their courage and strength to see through any situation and find the positive in any situation, even in the most difficult times.
Although Keely will be so sadly missed the light that Keely shared with the world will continue to shine forever.
My deepest thoughts and condolences.

I still can’t believe she is gone. Keely lived next door to us in Burlington. Our bedrooms faced each other and we would wave and chat. I used to babysit her after school and we would watch music videos and do all sorts of crafts together. She was such a sweet girl. We kept in touch over the years and I visited her in Port Perry and she visited me as well. We shared mary great chats on Facebook and I will miss her dearly. A beautiful person inside and out. My heart breaks for Justin, Rex and Terry and all those who loved her

I was utterly devastated to hear of Keely's sudden passing. As an adolescent and young womam, Keely was a much welcomed visitor to our home. As an adult we kept in touch thru Facebook for many years. Keely was a sweet, funny, kind, extremely talented woman who did her best to lift the spirits of others and fight for the rights of all. I remember her beautiful singing voice and that beautiful smile. Her love of animals knew no bounds. I will miss her uplifting posts and silly jokes that always managed to make me laugh. Such a loving, beautiful soul, gone far too soon. My heartfelt condolences to her parents Terry and Rex and to Justin, the love of her life as well as her extended family members. I will miss her dearly. Keely ... I know you are now at peace and with Audrey and Lars.

I was so shocked and saddened when I learned of your passing. You will always be a bright light in the lives of everyone you met.
I remember watching you run at track meets, you were a force! Your smile was contagious, your eye for design unmatched, your love for others boundless.
Thank you for attending my retirement party in June 2021, it was a wonderful surprise and so incredible to catch up with you. You will forever be in my heart as an unforgettable former student and absolutely spectacular human being.
My heart is heavy for you Justin, she was one of a kind!
With love, Stevie❤️❤️

Keely was one of the very first friends I met when my family moved to Port Perry over 30 years ago. We would get ready together to go to Festival Days, have sleepovers after the Latchem centre dances, eat fries & gravy on wax at Demetres and just hang out with some great friends. Loved the relationship she had with her lovely & sweet parents and so many friends!
Rest in eternal peace Keels.

Keely was a one of a kind and a very, very good way. She found ways to bring people together and make us all laugh. Keely had the best Friday night party’s in grade 7 and 8. Where we would all hang out in her basement, play music and laugh. I remember a time when her Dad Rex took Scott, Keely and I up for a plane ride. I’ll miss your posts on Facebook! Rest easy my dear friend. I’ll miss you!

We have known Keely from the day she was born. Her parents, Rex and Terry, have been close friends for more than fifty years. One happy memory, among many, was when we lived in an apartment with a long hallway. Keely was maybe a year old. I put her on a folded towel and would push her from one end of the hall to the other. Many times; to her great delight.
Nancy and I are so saddened with her loss. Joining us in expressing our condolences are our daughters, Heather and Hailey, who grew up knowing Keely. Our enduring love to Rex and Terry.

Keely. I so wish that we had more time in the hospital that fateful night. You just kept saying sorry for ruining Christmas. Always thinking of others. I just have so many questions that I should have asked you. I'm so lost here without you. I do know that the very last thing you asked me to do was to massage your head to help you fall asleep like I had every night for many years and I know how much that helped calm both of us. As I laid there staring at your beautiful face I remembered the very first night we lived together and how we both woke up smiling because it felt unbelievably natural to be with each other...and that never ever changed. In the hospital bed I caressed your face for nearly an hour. I leaned over and kissed your lips then your forehead only to hear you whisper in my ear how much you loved me.
Those were the last words you spoke to me.
Thank you baby for those words and thank you for making me the luckiest man in your life. I was so proud to have you as my own and I always will be.
You will be loved forever KiKi.
Forever

Keely was a light in this world. She always had a positive word for you, and always when you needed it most. She had a pure heart of gold, honestly one of the truest hearts in this world. She cared for everyone she came into contact with and anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her at something special in their life. She will always be remembered by me for her kindness, generosity and love of life. Even in the darkest times she looked for the light. Fly high sweet Angel your wings were ready but our hearts were not.
