Jane, "Homer" Jr.(Paul) and Family: Marie and I extend to each of you our hearfelt sympathy on the loss of a Father and a gracious friend. We fondly remember the "old days" in Millbrook when Homer was such an integral part of our daily lives, and especially, his association and comraderie with Dad. As my brother has said, Dad's life was deeply enriched through Homer's support and compassion. He was the perfect companion. There are so many wonderful memories of Homer - "BETTERCOMEINANDSEEHOMER" displayed in the window of his insurance business on the main street; the boat he built in the other half of the house we lived in on the pond; the boomerang demonstration at the fair grounds; shooting out the weeds in the pond with a .303 shotgun;riding a bike down the main street; all the concerts where Homer sang and/or played the Bass/piano; walking by his house and listening to him wind up the hammond organ........such fantastic memories will keep Homer's spirit alive. We will cheish his memory in our hears.

Dear Jane & Paul and family. We were saddened to read of your Dad's passing. We immediately remebered all of the fun things and sometimes crazy things that we enjoyed doing with him. We will always remember his close friendship with our Dad over the years. Dad could not have survived without that support. We are thinking of you as you turn this final page on your parents -- it's a tough thing to do. Thank goodness the memories carry us on. Perhaps we'll get to talk with you soon. Jane & Ashton
