Obituary of Ena Merle Fulton

Passed away on September 30, 2023, in Port Perry, Ontario, at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Avard Fulton. Devoted mother to Dan, Matt, and Sarah, and loving mother-in-law to Elli, Susie, and Colin. Cherished sister of Isla Hyde and the late Brenda Edgar. Adored “Glammy” to her seven grandchildren, Kathleen, Trevor, Alyssa, Abby, Olivia, Rachel, and Adam. Steadfast caregiver to her many four-legged companions over the years, most notably her seven beloved Newfoundland dogs.

Ena was a kind, gentle, and loving soul. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Ena’s family would like to thank the nurses and doctors who cared for her at Stevenson Memorial Hospital, and all the health care workers and volunteers at Oak Ridges Hospice in Port Perry, whose compassion and guidance were a balm to us throughout this most difficult time.

In keeping with Ena’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family celebration and interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Ena’s family would be honoured by donations in support of Oak Ridges Hospice, the Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation, or the Humane Society.
