Peacefully, after a brief illness on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at the Oak Ridges Hospice in Port Perry, at age 89. Ruth (nee Phillips) of Port Perry, beloved wife of the late Bryan Gollop. Loving mother of Steven Gollop of Guelph, Carolyn Gollop and her husband Guy Arnott of Minden Hills, and Christy Gollop and her husband Geoffrey Scott of Port Perry. Loved grandmother of Christopher, Jessica, Thomas, Sarah-Lynn, Robert, Evan, Tara, and William. Great-grandmother of six. Dear sister of Don Phillips (deceased) and his wife Diane of Port Perry, and John Phillips and his wife Theresa of Minden Hills.
The family of Ruth Gollop will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Sunday, April 7th from 6 – 8 p.m. A Service to celebrate Ruth’s life will be held at the Port Perry United Church, 294 Queen Street in Port Perry on Monday, April 8th at 11 a.m. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert.
