Obituary of Jeanette Anita Moran
Passed peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at the Chatham Kent Hospice in Chatham. Jeanette (nee Williams), beloved wife of the late Dennis Moran. Loved mother of Scott Moran and his wife Margarita Chavez Vacquez and Tina Moran. She will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and family friends. She was a heart and stroke survivor from November 2021 but her health was never quite the same. She was born on July 12, 1937 and grew up during WW II in the heart of London, England before being evacuated with her mother Dorothy (nee Sutton) into Wales and Scotland. She didn’t meet her father Edward Williams until after the war as he was serving in Egypt.
The family of Jeanette Moran will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Tuesday, April 23rd from 10 – 11 a.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to a charity of your choice.
