Obituary of Janet Dawn Byers

Passed away peacefully at her home in Blackstock with her family by her side. on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 in her 71st year. Jan is survived by her husband Jim Byers of Blackstock, her sons Tim Martyn (Wendy Fischer) of Peterborough, and Brian Martyn of Banff, Alberta, her sister Lorrie (Ron Minshall) of Caledonia, her grandchildren Eben, Lyla, and Atlas. Also survived by her nephews Ken Minshall, Luke Martyn (Keiko), Josh Martyn (Christina) and her nieces Julia Martyn-Shah (Mihir Shah) and Sarah Graham (Mike) and her great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Roy and Shirley Turner and her husband Blair Martyn (2008).

 

The family of Jan Byers will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Thursday, October 17th from 2 – 4 p.m. followed by a Service to celebrate her life at 4 p.m. Private interment Cartwright Union Cemetery in Blackstock.
