Obituary of Leon Williams

With sadness, the family of Leon Williams announce his passing on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at the age of 83. Leon will be dearly missed by his wife Betty (nee Henderson). Predeceased by his son Reese. Leon is survived by his sons Ian, and Jason and his wife Jody, his daughter-in-law Ronda, his brother Robert and his sister Jill. Cherished grandfather to Michael, Stacy, Jake, Carly, Viktoria, Kristyn, Cael, and Kenton. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Leon was born August 1, 1941 in the Port Hope Hospital to parents Alma (nee Dart) and Cliff Williams.

The family of Leon Williams will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Friday, November 29^th from 2 – 4 p.m. and on Saturday, November 30^th from 10 – 11 a.m. A Service to celebrate his life will follow at 11 a.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made online or by cheque to Mitocanada for Mitochondrial Disease or Fighting Blindness for Macular Degeneration.
