I would like to say that my my thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of remberance of the wonderful life that Merrill had. I think back to when I was a Boy Scout, and he and my dad were leaders. The last time I saw him was at my Uncle Ernie's 80th birthday celebration at the Unite Church. He still had that twinkle in his eye of "life, just give it to me". He was and always will be a wonderful man that gave me guidance in my life. Respectfully, Tim Wheeler.

I met Merrill many years ago. He was one of the most interesting people I ever met. We had dealings at Cartright Cemetery, when I would install a monument. Imagine my pride and joy, when I checked the Werry family tree, to find out we were related. That made my whole summer!!! I was so proud to learn this before he got sick. I'll miss him--there was only one Merrill Van Camp. You meet a man like this about every 30 years. I'll never forget the twinkle in his eye, when he started to talk to you. I was also impressed with the Funeral Home for being able to deal with the large crowds of people who came to pay respects to Merrill. I hope more people will post to this Guest Book (a wonderful idea!), and share the wonderful memories of Merrill. Must go now; I find it hard to type on my computer when I feel the tears welling up in my eyes. Thanks for the memories, Merrill.Your kids are lucky to have you for a father.

Dear Dale, Janet and families - I just read the notice online and remembered many happy times with Merrill and Norma - they became second parents to so many of us as we ventured away from home and on our own as "young adults" for the first time. It was always great fun to share a political jab with Merrill and share a laugh. We share in your loss, but can't begin to imagine how you feel - just know we are thinking of you all

Know that I am thinking of all of you, and that my heart is aching along with yours. This is a time when we feel deep sadness, but we must also reflect and remember the happy and beautiful times we spent with Merrill. A time to share our memories with the hope that in someway, sharing our memories of Merrill will give us comfort. Love Ralph
