To the Sweetman Family, I was indeed shocked to learn of the passing of Valerie. Some of you will remember me as Joan Goslin and I used to live with your parents many years ago. My deepest sympathy to you all at this sad time, and please know that my thoughts are with you all.

Dear Kevin, Jessica and Craig, We were so saddened to learn that your dear mother and our dear friend Valerie has left us. We are especially sorry that you have to endure more heatbreak so soon after losing your dear Dad. We are grateful that we got to see her last fall. We will always remember the laughs and good food we shared for over thirty years. Family was the most important thing in Val's life and she was the best wife, mother, grandma and friend you could ask for. We will miss your parents always. We are sorry we cannot come up at this time. My mother died March 27 and it is still a difficult time for me. Please keep in touch. Val loved all of us and we will remember her great sense of humour and love of life. Love to you all, Angie and Pascal
