Dear Joanne, Freda and Earl So sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. I was unable to attend the funeral and express my sympathy to the family in person, due to earlier commitments {work}. I want you to know that my thoughts and prayers were with you. Donnie

It saddened me to hear of your mother's passing, but I know she had a full life..compiled of both joy and sorrow. Although I had only met her a few times, those occasions were such fun..the picnic lunches in the salon, the joking, the laughing, the smell of perm solution mixing with homemade soup are treasured memories for me. I have a smile on my face right now remembering those times..are you thinking back Jo? Stay strong and rest assured Verna is with you always. Love, Rosie

Dear JoAnne, Jody, and Family, What can a person say at a time like this. I know what I will remember about your wonderful Verna. She made the best sandwiches in the world! Whenever I knew that she was coming to Gravenhurst......I looked forward to those sandwiches.....and Freida's pickles!!! She always gave warm squeezy hugs. She always had a kind word and a beautiful smile. The last time I saw her was about a month ago. She looked wonderful. I will always remember that last squeezy hug. She was a genuine lady. Love Nan xooxoxoxoxo
