EDITH ANNIE DAVIS ~ Peacefully, on Thursday, May 17, 2012, at Hillsdale Terraces in Oshawa, at age 90. Edith (nee Cookson), beloved wife of the late Walter John Davis (1969). Loved mother of June (Allen Budd), John (Debby), Harley (Wendy), Reg (Karen) and Valerie (Tom Hunter). Loving grandmother of David (Kate), Heather, Jeff, Brad (Alissa), Brandon, Sara, Emily (Aaron), Ken and Jill (Gary) and great grandmother of Noah, Emma, Maia, Aubree, Evan, Hunter and Carter. Predeceased by her brothers Fred, Harry and Vic Cookson and she is survived by her sister-in-law Madeline. The family of Edith Davis will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985 2171) on Friday, May 25th from 7 - 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, May 26th at 11 a.m. with Reverend Paul Moorhouse officiating.
