My mother was a beautiful, amazing person. She was fun to laugh and joke with. Her cooking and baking...wow she could make a feast out of practically nothing. I will always remember her single serving soups that she sent to me for my lunches. She taught me how to be giving and the value of a job well done. My only wish is to be as good a person as she was.

I have the greatest memories of Darlene and Steven from when Sid & I lived in Kendall. Darlene was like a sister to me and I can never thank her and Steven for everything that they did for me back then. I am so sorry that we drifted apart and I am so saddened by Darlene's passing. I think of you all so often. That was the greatest time in my life. Thank you for being you. My thoughts and prayers will always be with your family. Mary Ann

My Mother how such little words can express her meaning in life..... but i will try .... her love was unending, always room for more.... her house was always open, and scented as if she was already in heaven.... her cooking was unmistakeble, she cooked with more love than anything..... her beauty was a sight to see inside and out.... her caring was unique she had a cure for everything, doctors need not apply..... she always worried about someone, now she can watch us all ..... her seat up in heaven should be put higher than most.... cause she always put other people first... now God will lift her up, to where she should be .... high enough to see us all .... bless her heart and soul as her job as an angel will be her biggest one of all..... My words can go no further, but do not end at what she had to offer ... for you see the greatest gift she gave me, was how to be a mother..... I love you deeply mommy... I promise to keep your love alive.....

To the family of Darlene Childs. Deeply saddened to hear of Darlenes passing. I will always remember her big smile and dimples. When I married Her uncle Gerald she was just a skinny six year old, with the same infectious smile. May it comfort you to know that we all have you in our thoughts. May our creator wrap you in his arms at this most difficult time in your lives, and let you know that your loved one is free of her pain and suffering and she will await us all with that smile. Aunt Carroll & families

To my only sister in law. Time will never erase the memories I have of you. Even tho we were apart by distance, our hearts were together in family. May you finally have the peace you so richly deserve. May Steve always know that he did find his soulmate in you, and may Jennifer, Stephanie, Roberta and Deanna always find comfort in their dreams and memories of a very special woman. I will miss you Darlene from Darlene
